As a customer

Placing an order

  1. BrowseBrowse through the chefs near you and pick one
  2. Add items from their menu to yourCartcart
  3. Go to yourCartcart
  4. TapCheckout
  5. Select an address
  6. TapPlace order

Your cart can only have items from one chef at a time. To order from multiple chefs, you have to place multiple orders.

Chefs can limit the quantity of an item in your cart. Or require the cart total to be over a certain number. If you are having trouble placing an order, make sure you have reached the minimum total required and selected an address.

Canceling an order

  1. Go toAccountAccount
  2. Go toOrders
  3. Find the order you would like to cancel
  4. TapCancel orderand confirm

You cannot cancel an order once it has been accepted by the chef. This is to prevent waste of effort and avoid disappointment.

Adding an address

  1. Go toAccountAccount
  2. Go toAddresses
  3. Tap theAddon the top right
  4. Go through the flow

As a chef

Sign up as a chef

Once you have signed in to the app,

  1. Go toAccountAccount
  2. TapSign up as a chefHomemade
  3. Go through the flow

Add an item to your menu

  1. Make sure you are in chef mode by going toAccountAccount and tappingSwitch to chef mode
  2. Go toMenuMenu
  3. Tap theAddon the top right
  4. Go through the flow

You will need to fill out all fields so we can show our customers what they are buying. If you do not have exact numbers about the nutritional information of your dish, try this calculator.

Accepting an order

  1. Make sure you are in chef mode by going toAccountAccount and tappingSwitch to chef mode
  2. Go toOrdersOrders
  3. Find and tap the order you would like to manage
  4. TapAccept orderand set a delivery time

Managing an order

  1. Make sure you are in chef mode by going toAccountAccount and tappingSwitch to chef mode
  2. Go toOrdersOrders
  3. Find and tap the order you would like to manage
  4. From there, you can see the customer name, any instructions for the order or delivery address, open the location in Apple or Google Maps, call the customer, and update the order status.
